“Faith never knows where it is being led, but it knows and loves the One who is leading.”
Our Heavenly Father knows us. So, though we often may not understand situations in our lives, we can trust that God is well aware of every little thing that concerns us.
“O Lord, You have searched me and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise; You perceive my thoughts from afar. You discern my going out and my lying down; You are familiar with all my ways. Before a word is on my tongue You know it completely, O Lord. You hem me in – behind and before; You have laid Your hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too lofty for me to attain. Where can I go from Your Spirit? Where can I flee from Your presence? If I go up to the Heavens, You are there; if I make my bed in the depths, You are there. If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there Your hand will guide me, Your right hand will hold me fast.”
Father, please help me today to trust You more. Thank You that You have all knowledge and are worthy of my complete trust. Please help me to grow in that understanding and trust Your leading in my life.

It is such a blessing to feel free to ask questions. One person simply CANNOT have all of the answers! But, sometimes we need to know more in order for us not to make dumb mistakes. It’s one way to keep growing. It’s hard to admit you need help with something or that you don’t understand. I’m thankful for the people in my life who know more than I do; and make it easy for me to admit the things I need help with. The admission of our own need and limitations is humbling; we reveal our weaknesses and limitations. This is a perfect way for God to reveal His grace to us!
2 Corinthians 12:9,10 “But He said to me, My grace- My favor, and lovingkindness and mercy – are enough for you, [that is, sufficient against any danger and to enable you to bear the trouble manfully]; for My strength and power are made perfect – fulfilled and completed and show themselves most effective – in [your] weakness. Therefore, I will all the more gladly glory in my weaknesses and infirmities, that the strength and power of Christ, the Messiah, may rest – yes, may pitch a tent [over] and dwell – upon me!”
Father, I ask you to help me in all of my weaknesses, that Your strength would rest upon me and be the difference in my life. Help me to be quick to ask questions, ready to learn from you and from others in my life; as You supply all of the help that I need.
“Love does not dominate, it cultivates.”
God has given us the picture of how His love cultivates in two notable examples. One example is His love for the church, the other is in a Christian marriage. “Husbands love your wives , just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her to make her holy… After all, no one ever hated his own body, but he feeds and cares for it, just as Christ does the church- for we are members of His body” Ephesians 5:25-29
Father, please help us to cultivate love for others in our world today. Love through us we pray; in Jesus name. Amen.

Galatians 5:22,23 ” But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self control. Against such things there is no law.”
Father I thank You that the fruit of Your Spirit is being developed in my life; as I lean on You, look to You, and am being transformed by the power of Your Holy Spirit. Please love through me today. Shine through me today; that others would see Christ’s love for them. I pray this for Your glory alone, in Jesus name. Amen.

Psalm 89:1,2 “I will sing of the Lord’s great love forever: with my mouth I will make Your faithfulness known through all generations. I will declare that Your love stands firm forever, that You established Your faithfulness in Heaven itself.”
When you love someone, you talk about them; you speak of time you spent with them and special memories. If we do this of people we love, why not do it for Christ; whose love for us paid the ultimate price, and has secured for us the ultimate gift?
Dear Lord, Thank You for Your great and precious love! Thank You that You have given Your very life for me. Thank You for the gift of eternal life. Please come invade every area of my heart, that I would have a new boldness to speak of Your love and share Your life as I go about my day. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
“If you cannot get what you like, why not like what you get?”
The Apostle Paul learned the lesson of contentment. Philippians 4:11,12 ” I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want.” What was the “secret” of his contentment? What had Paul learned? The next verse answers those questions…”I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.” (Phil. 4:13)
Father, I pray today that we would come to rely on You more. I pray that we would look to You for our strength; and be filled with a contentment deep in our hearts, that only You can give. Amen.
“God loves with great love the man whose heart is bursting with a passion for the IMPOSSIBLE.”
Is there something in your life that seems impossible today? Perhaps you or a loved one have a chronic or terminal illness, perhaps you just lost your job or your finances are not adequate to pay your bills. Those may look like impossible scenarios at the moment. But, we have a God who CAN DO ALL things! I have seen God do the impossible! Even when I have not received the miracles I have prayed for, I have found God’s strength come to me as I have believed in Him for impossible things. I was changed in the process, my heart , my strength and my faith were built up by God and He was glorified. Sometimes, it is enough to KNOW that He can do the impossible! Ask God to give you a passion for the impossible today.
Matthew 19:26, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You that You can do all things. ALL things are possible with you. Please help me to believe in You more and to see You as limitless; to invite You to be limitless in the circumstances of my life today and always. I pray this for Your glory, in Jesus name. Amen.
